Prices and reserve

Seller reserve, current bid, Buy Now and final bid are different values. Never present one as another.

Seller reserve price

Read lots[].seller_reserve in /cars, /search-vin and /search-lot responses. It is an optional object with price and updated_at, included in the standard response with no extra parameter.

null means no nonzero reserve is available in our data; it does not mean a zero reserve or a no-reserve auction. The reserve is separate from the current bid, Buy Now price and final bid, and it is not a confirmed sale price. Check updated_at before using the amount.

Vehicle specifications and lot details depend on the source and collection history. Fields can be null, absent or empty.
Seller reserve, current bid, Buy Now, final bid and historical prices are distinct values and not interchangeable estimates of a purchase price.
Amounts carry no currency code and include no conversion, auction fees, shipping, duties or other import costs.
Check price and auction timestamps: collected values are not guaranteed to be live auction quotes.
prices_history=1 includes the available history; it does not guarantee every price change.
An active listing does not guarantee that bidding is open, and an archived listing does not necessarily mean the vehicle sold.
Image fields can hold source-hosted URLs whose availability and resolution vary. Send your API key only to the API host, never to image or source URLs.
